There isn’t really a cuter way to start your day than with this collection of animated shorts that Nintendo has been posting on its Japanese YouTube channel. Now I just need a game in this style.
According to market research firm Circana, Nintendo’s latest console has now sold more than 2 million units in the US since it launched in June. The firm says that the Switch 2 is “currently 75 percent ahead of the unit sales pace set by the original Nintendo Switch.”

The latest major (and free) update for No Man’s Sky is called Voyagers, and the big addition is the ability to get out of your ship mid-flight. You can hang out with a crew of friends on board or, apparently, skydive to a planet’s surface, Fortnite-style. Full details here.
If last year’s Silent Hill 2 remake wasn’t enough, here’s an early look at the upcoming film adaptation. The trailer is short, but does include a look at our old friend Pyramid Head. It hits theaters on January 23rd, which should be enough time to play Silent Hill F beforehand.
The intriguing open-world climbing game is the latest to change its release date due to the incoming launch of Silksong. Now it’ll be available on both the PS5 and PC on September 23rd. If you’re curious, here is my hands-on time with the game from earlier in the year.
The surprise September 4th launch date for Silksong caused a number of indie developers to delay their games, and now you can add Demonschool to that list. The tactical RPG with hints of Persona was originally planned for a September 3rd release, but is now slated to launch on November 19th.
