    Microsoft has gone fishin’.

    The countdown to a big games showcase is usually filled with sizzle reels of upcoming games, but Microsoft has gone in a different direction: some chill clips of people fishing in Fallout 76 as part of the game’s most recent update.

    If you haven’t had enough of gaming events, Microsoft has one more. The Xbox Games Showcase kicks off at 1PM ET, and will be followed by a second event focused entirely on The Outer Worlds 2.

    Fortnite is looking super, man.

    Following another successful live event (this time it involved infiltrating a Death Star), Epic has revealed the next season for Fortnite’s battle royale, which is once again superhero-themed. It includes new locations like a superhero academy and new characters like, well, Superman. Check out all the details here.

    Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio showed off a trailer for its latest Yakuza-style game, Stranger Than Heaven, which jumps back in time quite a bit.

    Capcom, which basically confirmed a new Resident Evil is coming, but asked fans to “bear with us a little longer” before anything is actually announced.

    The band is back together.

    There’s already one excellent Scott Pilgrim beat ‘em up, and now we’re getting another. Tribute Games — the team behind games like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge — is working with an all-star team on Scott Pilgrim EX. That includes original creator Bryan Lee O’Malley, chiptune rockers Anamanaguchi, pixel artist Paul Robertson, and Scott Pilgrim Takes Off showrunner BenDavid Grabinski. The new game is launching in 2026.
