While we all impatiently wait for more news about the final season of Stranger Things, Netflix has shared a little about the show’s animated spinoff. Sports are already pretty scary if you’re a Maple Leafs fan like me, but Him somehow looks even more terrifying. Directed by Justin Tipping and produced by Jordan Peele, the movie follows an up-and-coming quarterback (Tyriq Withers) dealing with “potentially career-ending brain trauma” after an attack from a fan. Things only get darker from there. The movie hits theaters on September 19th.
The latest trailer for FBC: Firebreak — a multiplayer spinoff of Control — looks delightfully weird, and is making me feel justified in my irrational hatred of sticky notes. The game launches this summer, but Remedy is also hosting a livestream on April 24th at 1PM ET with a deeper look and some news. Hopefully we get a release date.
We already knew Peacock’s adaptation of Twisted Metal was returning for a second season this summer. Now the streamer has confirmed exactly when with a July 31st premiere date.
