The first image from Dune: Part 3 isn’t particularly revealing, but it does give a glimpse into Paul Atreides’ new look, which has something of a Sub-Zero vibe. The movie hits theaters in December.

In the latest update, a judge has ordered Krafton to reinstate former Unknown Worlds Entertainment CEO Ted Gill, saying the publisher violated its contract when Gill and his fellow co-founders were fired last summer. The suit also claims that Krafton CEO Changhan Kim “consulted an artificial intelligence chatbot to contrive a corporate ‘takeover’ strategy” and get out of paying a $250 million bonus.
Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein won a handful of Oscars last night, including one for best make-up and hairstyling. Last year I had the chance to talk to Mike Hill, who designed the creature from the film, about his relationship with del Toro and all the work that went into recreating the character.
Last year Netflix confirmed that its long-gestating Assassin’s Creed series was still happening, and now we have further proof of life thanks to a casting announcement. Noomi Rapace, Sean Harris, Ramzy Bedia, and Corrado Invernizzi have joined the cast, though there’s still no word on when it’ll start streaming.

YouTube performance artist-turned-metal singer Poppy is narrating the English version of an audio-only adaptation of a short story from horror manga master Junji Ito. Nintendo has given a release date for the adorable Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, which hits the Switch 2 on May 21st. Donald Glover unfortunately does not make an appearance in the new trailer.
It’s only been a few weeks since Resident Evil Requiem launched, and Capcom has already confirmed that the game will be getting some notable updates including a photo mode and, more exciting, a full-on story expansion. Timing is still TBD.
