Rode’s wireless mic pack gets simpler.

Rode has been making pocket-sized wireless microphone systems for a few years now, and the Wireless ME is its newest. The biggest change is the addition of a microphone built into the receiver, so you can record a two person interview with just these two little squares instead of three.

I’ve used Rode’s Wireless Go mics a bunch in the field since the receiver can plug right into my phone and fit in my pocket, so it’s cool that the Wireless ME makes the whole system more compact.

Carrot Weather now has a ChatGPT-based chatbot, which reminds me of Poncho the “weathercat” bot I used back then. Here’s a throwback to our 2016 episode of What’s Tech all about the rise of bots that year.
