Whatever the Umurangi Generation developer’s got cooking, I’m down for it.

The maker of one of my favorite games of the last few years is giving small teases of a new project. While this stealthy noir mood with gunplay is a departure from Umurangi Generation’s photography-centric gameplay and colorful vibes (albeit, depressingly post-apocalyptic ones), I’m definitely hyped.

Who needs AI when humans can be this cool?

This viral photo of Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina’s mid-air celebration from the 2024 Paris Olympics was suspected by some to be AI or Photoshop.

But it’s just an excellently timed pic by photographer Jérôme Brouillet, and The Guardian has some background on how he anticipated the moment and nabbed it.

Brazil’s Gabriel Medina reacts after getting a large wave in the 5th heat of the men’s surfing round 3, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, in Teahupo’o, on the French Polynesian Island of Tahiti, on July 29, 2024.

AI laptop stickers have arrived to ruin your day.

Look, I know unsightly stickers on Windows laptops have been with us since long ago when “Intel Inside” was something people actually wanted boast about. But come on, HP.

A close-up of a sticker on the deck of an HP OmniBook X laptop, advertising AI features.
Yes, I know it’s meant to be removed. It’s still too large and thirsty.
