Bandai Namco is killing off its team-based Mobile Suit Gundam first-person shooter, Gundam Evolution. The free-to-play mecha hero shooter — which played like Overwatch with Gundams, Zakus, and other popular Mobile Suits — will end on November 29th (14 months after launch). Seasons six and seven will still launch even after Bandai Namco ceases microtransactions on July 26th.

Flippfly, the studio best-known for Race The Sun, has a demo for what’s now my most anticipated game of August (aside from Armored Core VI). It’s called Whisker Squadron: Survivor, a roguelite blending on-rails Star Fox spacecraft fighting with 30-minute runs like Vampire Survivors. It’s got slick neon colors, humanoid cat pilots, and a great feel on the Steam Deck.
