It took three years, two terabytes, and over 100 hours of cutscenes to preserve Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia.
During its Partner Preview showcase, Xbox announced that Final Fantasy — No, not that one. Not that one either. Yeah, that one —will fully launch on the console March 21st.
Currently, the critically acclaimed MMORPG is in open beta and when the game goes live, it will require not only a paid subscription to the game itself, but also a subscription to Xbox Game Pass.
The popularity of Helldivers 2 has apparently encouraged others to capitalize on its success. Not by creating their own game inspired by the spreading democracy simulator, of course, but by creating a fake Steam page for Helldivers 2 and marking the “game” at a steep discount.
Thankfully, it seems like the fakes have been removed.
