V creator Kenneth Johnson wants to reclaim his thought provoking series from QAnon fans.

Though Kenneth Johnson’s V was a miniseries about reptilian aliens surreptitiously invading Earth, it was also a brilliant — and fairly transparent — anti-fascism parable about the power of collective resistance.

But in a fascinating new Vanity Fair piece, Johnson says over the years he’s been trying to revive V as a modern film, he’s also been fending off QAnon-minded fans dead set on “believing that there really was a lizard race and that I had been trying to warn everybody.”

But Sony’s latest ad spot is a: a great introduction to Karan Soni’s Pavitr Prabhakar, and b: a useful note about one of the more important things all Spider-People have in common aside from the whole tragically losing loved ones thing.

And Just Like That... Che Diaz became Judas.

And Just Like That’s always been pretty lighthearted, but this “Last Supper”-esque ad for the show’s second season really makes it seem like it’s going to lean into the Che Diaz hate this summer.
