Watching the teaser for director Yorgos Lanthimos’ Poor Things, you might not recognize it as an adaptation of Alasdair Gray’s 1992 novel. What’s impossible to miss, though, is how... batshit (in the best way) this thing looks, which’ll probably also be the case when a full trailer drops.

Whether Warner Bros.’ Meg 2: The Trench from director Ben Wheatley is as good as the first film remains to be seen, but the movie’s subtitle is damn near perfect.
