This is a quietly big year for the Apple TV and tvOS

Instead of living by the whims of everyone involved in the streaming wars, Apple is refocusing on its own software and (finally) bringing features like FaceTime to the TV.

Google’s Pixel Buds Pro have gotten way better since their release — and are under $140 for Prime Day.

Since launching its first pair of noise-canceling earbuds a year ago, Google has added useful new features to the Pixel Buds Pro like customizable EQ and immersive spatial audio with head tracking.

I’m biased because these are some of my favorite review photos, but if you’ve got a Pixel phone and somehow haven’t tried the Buds Pro, now’s a great opportunity: they’re only $133.

Paul McCartney reassures fans that AI isn’t ‘artificially’ recreating The Beatles.

Earlier this month we learned that AI played a key role in the production of one final upcoming song by The Beatles. The technology helped isolate and extract John Lennon’s vocals and piano from a lo-fi tape recording.

Former Fireman frontman Paul McCartney has now clarified that AI was only used to clean up existing material and didn’t create anything that wasn’t originally there. As a fan of how “Real Love” turned out, I’m looking forward to this one — though I’m conflicted about its release since George Harrison never wanted to finish it while he was still alive.
