Security researchers found a zero-click vulnerability in Microsoft 365 Copilot.

The vulnerability, called “EchoLeak,” lets attackers “automatically exfiltrate sensitive and proprietary information” from Microsoft 365 Copilot without knowledge of the user, according to findings from Aim Labs.

An attacker only needs to send their victim a malicious prompt injection disguised as a normal email, which covertly instructs Copilot to pull sensitive information from a user’s account.

Microsoft has since fixed the critical flaw and given it the identifier CVE-2025-32711. It also hasn’t been exploited in the wild.

Amazon and Walmart are reportedly considering getting into stablecoins.

The retail giants are looking into ways they could use or issue stablecoins — a cryptocurrency pegged to the US dollar or another asset, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal. As noted by the WSJ, the move could allow Amazon and Walmart to receive payments faster, while avoiding fees from credit card transactions.

The Nook app has started linking to outside purchases on iOS, too.

Barnes & Noble’s Nook app has joined Kindle and Spotify in making it easier to buy e-books and audiobooks on the iPhone. A recent update has added a new “buy on BN.com” option to the iOS app, as spotted earlier by Good e-Reader.

The change comes after a judge ordered Apple to lift restrictions on web links and outside payment options, a decision that a higher court upheld earlier this month.

Wikipedia halts experiment with AI-generated article summaries.

Following a slew of complaints from editors, a Wikimedia Foundation spokesperson confirmed to 404 Media that it’s pausing the two-week test, which began on June 2nd.

The experiment put AI-generated summaries at the top of articles for users who opted in. One editor responded to the idea by saying, “Just because Google has rolled out its AI summaries doesn’t mean we need to one-up them.”
