Lip-Bu Tan, who takes over as Intel CEO on Tuesday, is planning to overhaul the struggling chipmaker’s manufacturing business, while also adjusting its “approach to AI and staff cuts,” according to a report from Reuters. This reportedly includes resuming plans to produce an AI chip, which the company canceled earlier this year.
“If you’re not comfortable, don’t let your kids be on Roblox,” Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki told the BBC. “That sounds a little counter-intuitive, but I would always trust parents to make their own decisions.”
Last year, Roblox responded to reports that its platform isn’t safe for kids with new restrictions requiring children to get parental permission to access certain chat features and games.
The company has opened submissions for short-form content “written specifically for audio.” If Spotify chooses to move forward with a submission, it will make an offer and then publish the audiobook. Spotify will also pay an advance and royalties (but doesn’t note any specifics).
