Aakash Sastry, the founder of Hotshot, said in a post on X that the AI startup is “excited to continue scaling” its efforts at the Elon Musk-owned xAI. This could be a sign that xAI is getting closer to adding video generation to its AI chatbot Grok, something Musk previously hinted at in January, as spotted by TechCrunch.
Lip-Bu Tan, who takes over as Intel CEO on Tuesday, is planning to overhaul the struggling chipmaker’s manufacturing business, while also adjusting its “approach to AI and staff cuts,” according to a report from Reuters. This reportedly includes resuming plans to produce an AI chip, which the company canceled earlier this year.
“If you’re not comfortable, don’t let your kids be on Roblox,” Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki told the BBC. “That sounds a little counter-intuitive, but I would always trust parents to make their own decisions.”
Last year, Roblox responded to reports that its platform isn’t safe for kids with new restrictions requiring children to get parental permission to access certain chat features and games.
