During an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Sarandos was asked which series he wished Netflix produced:
I love The Bear. I wish that was one of ours. Ted Lasso spoke to the time really well. People were looking for something light and fun, and it was just that.

The startup is currently facing a lawsuit from News Corp, alleging that its AI-generated content copied The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post. Perplexity called the claims “misleading at best.”
The company tells CNBC that it has the “most verified individual human identities of any major social network.” LinkedIn plans to authenticate the identities of 100 million users by 2025 through its free verification process. It will also start showing verification badges on posts within the main feed, CNBC reports.
Its $15 million funding round was led by Blockchain Capital, a venture capital group that has invested in crypto firms, like Kraken, OpenSea, and Coinbase. Despite this, Bluesky says it’s not changing its stance on blockchains:
This does not change the fact that the Bluesky app and the AT Protocol do not use blockchains or cryptocurrency, and we will not hyperfinancialize the social experience (through tokens, crypto trading, NFTs, etc.)
