The Meta-owned messaging app raised the age requirement from 13 to 16 in Europe in 2018. However, it decided to change that earlier this year, saying it wanted to bring the app in line with the 13-year-old age requirement in other countries, including the US.
Adobe calls its Firefly model “commercially safe” because it’s trained on Adobe’s stock library. However, Bloomberg reports that around 5 percent of the images in its training database are actually generated by other AI models.
Both companies filed affidavits in support of Fubo, which is suing to block WBD, ESPN, and Fox’s sports streaming package, The Desk reports.
DirecTV exec Rob Thun wrote that the company has “grave concerns” about the joint venture, saying it could prevent DirecTV from offering “smaller sports-focused bundles of channels.”
