Here’s why Netflix is holding off on a Vision Pro app.

In an interview with Stratechery, Netflix co-CEO Greg Peters says the company wants to “see where things go with the Vision Pro:”

We have to be careful about making sure that we’re not investing in places that are not really yielding a return... Certainly we’re always in discussions with Apple to try and figure that out but right now, the device is so subscale that it’s not really particularly relevant to most of our members.

Netflix’s iPad app won’t work with the Vision Pro, either, which means users will have to access it in a web browser.

    Peacock subscribers are going up.

The streaming service gained 3 million subscribers over the past few months, bringing its total number to 31 million, according to Comcast’s latest earnings report.

Peacock subscribers have grown steadily over the past year as the service continues to experiment with live sports. Its most recent AFC Wild Card game became the “most-streamed event ever in the US.”

Verizon sees a future in streaming bundles.

Verizon already offers a Disney Plus package, along with its new Netflix and Max bundle, but the company plans on announcing “more bundles and perks this year,” The Information reports.

That includes bundles with “several services” and not just two. As more people cut cable for streaming, The Information notes Verizon is likely looking to act as a middle-man to help users manage their services — all while getting a cut of those subscriptions.

Apple thought it dealt with Epic v. Apple — has it really?

Apple has started letting developers link to third-party payment processors, but only if it’s on Apple’s own terms.

Boeing may have made the installation mistake behind the 737 Max 9 blowout.

A source familiar with the situation tells The Seattle Times the doorplug that blew out of the Alaska Airlines flight was “removed for repair then reinstalled improperly by Boeing mechanics” on the final assembly line.

That would put the brunt of the blame on Boeing, instead of Spirit AeroSystems, the company that initially installed the panel, The Seattle Times reports. The FAA’s investigation is still ongoing.
