    Here are the three companies in the running to buy what’s left of FTX.

    Bullish, a crypto exchange led by former New York Stock Exchange president Tom Farley, is just one of the companies that could potentially relaunch the fallen exchange, The WSJ reports.

    Fintech startup Figure Technologies is also in the running, as is the crypto venture capital firm Proof Group, which was one of the companies that bought up Celsius’ assets after it went bankrupt. We could find out FTX’s winning bidder as soon as December, according to the WSJ.

    David Zaslav really likes Disney’s deal with Charter.

    The Warner Bros. Discovery CEO said during an earnings call that the company is “not giving up on linear,” adding that Disney’s cable bundle with Charter could be a “creative road forward” for the industry:

    I think was a very innovative deal by Charter and Disney. Athough it started out noisy and scary, I think it created potentially a very, very interesting bridge to more scale, lower churn and more stability to linear... We think we can continue to find constructive ways to work with our traditional affiliates to make it work.

    Max and Discovery Plus lost around 700,000 subscribers this quarter.

    During an earnings call on Wednesday, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav blamed the decrease on having the “lightest original content” slate in years. That was due to the Hollywood strikes strike and a decrease in overlapping Discovery Plus subscribers, Zaslav said.

    It sounds like Warner Bros. Discovery plans to bulk up on original content in the future, as Zaslav said he wants to “capitalize” on the company’s “underused” franchises, like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones,

    Chrome says it saved users over 10,000 years of waiting for webpages to load this year.

    That’s all thanks to Chrome’s Core Web Vitals feature, which allows website owners and developers to evaluate how well their site performs. According to a blog post shared by Google, Core Web Vitals and other small tweaks also made the average page load in Chrome 166ms faster.

    Google is rolling out new deal-finding tools for the holidays.

    With Black Friday just around the corner, Google Search is launching a new hub that surfaces relevant deals on a single page. Searching for “shop deals” will reveal a whole bunch of products on sale across different categories, but you can narrow your search by typing, “shop headphones deals” or “shop sneaker deals.”

    Google is also rolling out some shopping features for Chrome, including a new price insights feature that was previously available on Search, as well as an easier way to check for discounts by clicking the tag icon in the address bar.

    Apple TV Plus is getting more Peanuts.

    After bringing back Charlie Brown’s holiday specials for a third year in a row, Apple TV Plus is teaming up with Peanuts to make an original film. Apple says the movie will follow the Peanuts crew as they embark on “an epic adventure to the Big City.”

    Apple is teaming up with the kids’ content company WildBrain and Peanuts Worldwide to create the CG-animated film, which will go into production in 2024.

    OpenAI is launching a GPT store later this month.

    The store will let users share and sell their custom GPT bots. Sam Altman says OpenAI is going to “pay people who build the most useful and the most used GPTs” a portion of the company’s revenue.
