The US Department of Transportation says American Airlines left 43 flights on the tarmac for “long periods of time” without letting passengers deplane.
This marks the largest fine that the DOT has levied against an airline for violating its tarmac delay rule, which prohibits airlines from keeping passengers on the tarmac for more than three hours.
As of July 2023, Nintendo has officially sold more Switch consoles in the US than the Wii, Circana (formerly NPD) reports. The Switch already outsold the Wii on a global scale last year and is currently almost 30 million units ahead.
It looks like the Switch might dethrone more than just the Wii in the US, too — Circana reports that the Switch is less than 1 million units behind the Xbox 360 and less than 5 million behind the PS2.

As spotted by Bloomberg, code in the Uber Eats app suggests the service is working on an AI chatbot to provide recommendations to customers.
It’s not the only app thinking about AI and food delivery, either. Bloomberg reported last month that DoorDash is working on an AI chatbot as well. DoorDash also announced today that it’s rolling out an AI-powered voice ordering service.
First introduced to Bing.com and the Edge sidebar in July, Bing Chat Enterprise allows companies to use Microsoft’s AI-powered chatbot without having to worry about their conversations being used to train its underlying model.
Now Microsoft will let companies access the chatbot in Windows Copilot as well, with the launch of it in preview for “eligible commercial customers in the Dev channel.”
