    Bending Spoons is buying up Eventbrite, too.

    The Italian software company just announced billion-dollar deals to purchase AOL and Vimeo, and now it has reached an agreement to acquire Eventbrite for $500 million. Bending Spoons has added several other digital businesses to its portfolio in recent years, including Evernote, Meetup, Filmic, WeTransfer, and TapeACall.

    Wing’s Walmart drone deliveries are taking off in Atlanta.

    Starting today, Walmart will begin offering delivery via drone at six stores in the Atlanta area, allowing customers to receive groceries, household items, and over-the-counter medicine in “as fast as 30 minutes.” Wing already partners with Walmart in Dallas-Fort Worth, and plans on expanding drone deliveries to Charlotte, Houston, Orlando, and Tampa.

    Megan Thee Stallion wins deepfake defamation case.

    A Miami jury found that blogger Milagro “Gramz” Cooper defamed and harassed Megan Thee Stallion by spreading a sexually explicit video featuring her AI-generated likeness, Variety reports. The rapper accused Cooper of being a “mouthpiece” for Tory Lanez, a singer who was convicted of shooting Megan in 2020.
