When asked whether she trusts Musk to run Twitter during NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday, Klobuchar responded by bluntly saying: “No, I do not.”
The Minnesota senator added that it’s a “good sign” that Musk’s considering creating a content moderation council, but says she’s still concerned. “I just don’t think people should be making money off of passing on this stuff that’s a bunch of lies.”

Chief Twit, aka Elon Musk, fired Twitter’s top executives “for cause,” according to a report from The Information. This means the company’s CEO, CFO, policy chief, and others may not get their hefty severance pay (which totaled $38.7 million for former CEO Parag Agrawal).
Musk also reportedly ordered company-wide layoffs on Saturday, and wants to complete the job cuts by November 1st, the same day employees are supposed to get their stock grants.
