During an earnings call on Tuesday, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon made it clear how he feels about AI agents: “We’re not going to allow just any… outside agent to come in inside the company, because it’s just too risky for clients and for JPMorgan.”
A JPMorgan Chase spokesperson later confirmed to CNBC that the company blocks outside AI agents from performing tasks for customers.
The tool, which Six Colors recently slammed as “appalling,” pierces the AirTag’s speaker, preventing it from emitting sound. While Elevation Lab says it designed the tool to prevent thieves from detecting the presence of an AirTag, it also disables an anti-stalking feature that audibly alerts people when an unknown tracker is following them.
Elevation Lab says it has stopped selling the tool and will use its “patent on it to prevent anyone else from making one in the future,” according to MacRumors.

One year after a judge dismissed wiretapping charges against Burke, a federal grand jury has indicted him based on similar claims, as reported earlier by The Desk. A report from Reuters suggests that OpenAI and Anthropic considered tighter restrictions for third-party evaluators over concerns that they could leak trade secrets.
When reached for comment, OpenAI told Reuters that “its standard practice is to redact confidential information” and that evaluators can disclose if it made significant redactions. Anthropic reportedly said that it has “made clear” to existing partners that they can control their own review and publishing process.
