Intel reportedly plans to lay off up to 20 percent of factory workers.

In a memo seen by The Oregonian, Intel manufacturing Vice President Naga Chandrasekara tells workers that the company could cut between 15 and 20 percent of workers in its Foundry division. “These are difficult actions but essential to meet our affordability challenges and current financial position of the company,” Chandrasekara writes, according to The Oregonian.

This latest round of layoffs could happen next month, and follows last year’s job cuts affecting over 15,000 employees.

The Switch 2 is turning off Joy-Con rumble automatically.

Several users on Reddit have spotted a notification that tells them, “Rumble has been turned off due to prolonged use,” as reported earlier by IGN. The pop-up seems to appear during rumble-heavy scenes and gameplay in titles like Cyberpunk 2077, Split Fiction, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.

It’s still not clear why Nintendo added this feature, but it’s possible that it could have something to do with saving Joy-Con battery life.

Google now counts clicks from AI Mode.

In an update to a support page, Google says its Search Console will now include clicks and impressions from AI Mode, the chatbot-like search interface it brought to everyone in the US last month.

However, as pointed out by Search Engine Roundtable, the Google Search Console mixes this data with regular web traffic, potentially making it harder for publishers to see exactly where their clicks are coming from.
