Sea of Stars’s free DLC launches in May.

The DLC, Throes of the Watchmaker, releases on May 20th, according to a new trailer. It adds “over 8 hours” of new content, a new playable character, and new classes for the two main characters of the base game.

Seems like another promising addition to what’s been a good year for turn-based RPGs.

    Words with yourself.

Words With Friends is getting a new daily, single-player puzzle game called Letter Lock. In the game, you’ll slide letters up and down columns to spell words, and the more words you spell, the more columns you’ll unlock.

Seems like it could be a fun addition to your daily puzzle game routine.

    Layoffs at Respawn.

The studio will “step away” from “two early-stage incubation projects” and is making “targeted team adjustments” across its Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi teams. That translates to layoffs, though it’s unclear how many people are affected, per an IGN report.

    Some help from Yelp.

Yelp’s AI assistant will now be able to match you up with a local service professional with help from AI-powered photo recognition. Seems like it could be a useful to get assistance with something like a broken appliance.
