Mark Zuckerberg tried to “mediate” a lawsuit Donald Trump brought against him in 2021.

Per The Wall Street Journal, in an article about Zuckerberg’s “MAGA makeover”:

On Friday, Zuckerberg met with Trump in Florida for the second time in seven weeks and torched Meta’s longstanding diversity policies. The CEO was at the president-elect’s Mar-a-Lago club in part to mediate a lawsuit Trump brought against Facebook and Zuckerberg in 2021 over the platform’s suspension of Trump’s account after the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, according to people familiar with the matter. Among the options for resolution is a monetary settlement.

That’s from what appears to be an email from Nothing CEO Carl Pei to the Nothing team. Leaker Evan Blass shared a screenshot of the email to his private account on X, which Android Authority posted.

Pei also says that in Q1, “we have a landmark smartphone launch” — I’m guessing that’s the Phone 3?

Tim Sweeney weighs in on recent political moves from Big Tech leaders.

“After years of pretending to be Democrats, Big Tech leaders are now pretending to be Republicans, in hopes of currying favor with the new administration,” he says in a post on X. “Beware of the scummy monopoly campaign to vilify competition law as they rip off consumers and crush competitors.”

I’m guessing this is partially about Mark Zuckerberg’s recent actions.
