OpenAI is thinking about making its own browser.

The Information has the scoop. If this happens, it wouldn’t be too surprising to me — seems like a natural next step for a company that already has its own search engine and native ChatGPT apps.

OpenAI has apparently also had discussions with Samsung about powering AI tools on its devices, The Information reports.

Meta is detailing how it’s fighting ‘pig butchering’ scams.

“This year alone, we’ve taken down over two million accounts linked to scam centers in Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, the United Arab Emirates and the Philippines,” Meta says.

The scams typically involve a scammer (who is sometimes a forced laborer) building trust with someone, asking them for money, and then disappearing.

Fortnite’s subscription is about to become a better deal.

As of December 1st, Fortnite Crew, a monthly $11.99 subscription that already includes perks like the Battle Royale battle pass and 1,000 V-bucks, will also give you access to the rewards passes for Fortnite Festival, Lego Fortnite, and a new “OG Pass” that will tie into the revived Fortnite OG mode. The change is part of Epic’s work to streamline its passes.
