In a blog post, Google detailed the Messages improvements, some nice Wear OS and accessibility updates, and more. With Wear OS, for example, you’ll soon be able to set home or away statuses in Google Home, which could be handy if you forget to change your status when you leave the house.
Here’s an image of the updated UI, from Samsung’s blog post. In that post, Samsung’s Yonghoon Choi says that the company has seen a 60 percent increase in “global viewing time” on Samsung TV Plus over the past year.

The company has a new tagline, too: “The heart of the internet.”
Marc Merrill, who has also served as the studio’s co-CEO, will be taking on the CPO role. “As CPO, Marc will lead the vision for the ecosystems surrounding each game while helping solidify the future paths of League [of Legends], Valorant, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Research and Development (R&D) at Riot,” the company said in a blog post.

Google is rolling out a new Home tab that shows suggested files and folders all in one place, according to a Google Workspace blog post. But don’t worry: if you prefer using My Drive as your default, which is what is in place right now, you can do that, Google says.
Unity said in its Q3 earnings that it would “likely” be doing layoffs, and now the company officially plans to cut 265 jobs, according to Reuters. Unity also plans to close offices in “approximately” 14 locations, per an SEC filing.
