Kyle Rowley, the director of Alan Wake II, snuck in the mention of the new mode at the end of Sam Lake’s acceptance speech for the Best Game Direction award. Rowley promised it will have “new story content.”

As Dusk Falls is coming to PlayStation.

The multiplayer narrative game launched on Xbox and PC in 2022, but it’s coming to PS4 and PS5 on March 7th, 2024.

The game’s story is pretty typical thriller fare, but I thought that the multiplayer, which lets you vote on story decisions with up to eight players in local co-op, was a lot of fun.

You’re going to be able to play it on February 16th, 2024, Ubisoft says. It definitely won’t get delayed again. Nope.

Tales of Kenzera: Zau looks like an incredible side-scrolling action game.

The trailer for the game, which was announced at The Game Awards, had an amazing art style and looked like a blast to play. It’s launching on April 23rd, 2024, and it’s coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Next year looks like a good year for side-scrolling action games.

Also, don’t miss the emotional introduction speech from Abubakar Salim, who founded Surgent Studios, the developer behind the game.

Sega is bringing back some classics.

Sega is making new titles in the Jet Set Radio, Shinobi, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and Crazy Taxi franchises, according to a trailer shown at The Game Awards. Host Geoff Keighley said that they will be released over the “next several years,” so we might be waiting awhile to actually play all of them, but you can see some early footage right now.

According to a press release, this list only comprises “the first” of Sega’s legacy franchises getting new games.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II looks extremely intense.

Ninja Theory shared a dark and gruesome new trailer for the upcoming game at The Game Awards. I’m not sure the game is going to be fun, per se, but like Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, it does look like it will be a powerful experience. It’s set to release on Xbox and PC in 2024.
