In this blog post about how the platform connects people, Roblox said that:

📱The company will make it easier to share in-Roblox captures, using a GIF to show what that might look like.
📞 “Eventually,” you’ll be able to use Roblox’s new Roblox Connect video call feature to call people from within a Roblox experience.
The platform is going to roll out “Collectible Expressions,” which let you slot in your Collectible Avatars into “a library of expressions created by Reddit” to use in post comments, starting October 26th. Here’s a GIF of what they look like, and I included a screenshot below. They still don’t make me want to get one of the avatars.
Reddit is announcing this just after saying that its blockchain-based Community Points will be going away.
The project is estimated to take five years, according to a press release (you can read the release from this link, but you should know that the link will download a PDF). The museum is digitizing the collection following recent thefts that were apparently an “inside job.”
You can try Diablo IV and its newest season for 10 hours between now and Monday at 2:59AM ET, according to an Xbox Wire blog post. There are a few other games you can play for free over the weekend, too, including NBA 2K24.

It’s out on Thursday on PC, Xbox, iOS, and Android, according to a press email I just received, but “coming soon” on Switch because of a platform approval issue.
In a post about the update on Steam, developer Poncle also detailed the forthcoming “Adventures” mode, which will “remix content of the base game” and add new stage progression. The developer is also planning to bring a cross-save feature into beta — I really hope this is rolled out widely soon!

When asked a question about Netflix’s pricing on Wednesday’s Q3 2023 earnings call, co-CEO Greg Peters reiterated the company’s general approach, saying that the company will “occasionally ask” customers to “pay a bit more” to keep the “virtuous circle spinning” of subscription payments being being invested in content for the service.
He added that, over time, the company is looking to have a “wider” range of price points, so we could see more pricing levels at some point in the future. Netflix raised prices for some plans on Wednesday.
According to The Information, this is the second time an app sold by Gas founder Nikita Bier, who also founded the sold-to-Facebook app TBH, has been shut down by its acquirer in a matter of months. The Gas acquisition was announced in January.

Activision added an offline mode to the recently-launched Steam Deck version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, as spotted by deals-hunter Wario64. A lot of people had complained about the previous requirement to play online.
