A partnership with EA and OneTeam Partners includes “the chance for all eligible FBS players to opt in to have their likenesses in EA Sports College Football,” according to ESPN. “Those players will receive compensation for being placed in the game.” The game was announced in 2021 and is set to release in the summer of 2024.
You couldn’t pay me to put Telly’s free TV that comes with a second screen entirely for ads in my house, but a lot of other people are willing to do so: the company says more than 100,000 people registered to try and get one within 36 hours of the TV’s launch. The TV is set to start shipping in the summer.
The revamped streaming service will have more than 350 of them. That said, HBO Max apparently already has customizable avatars, but I can’t figure out how to actually set one. Hopefully Max makes that easier!
