“Codex can now use Chrome on your computer to complete work inside the websites and apps where you’re already signed in,” according to the Chrome Web Store listing for the extension. It works in “task-specific” tab groups so you can keep using your active tabs.
You’ll also need the Chrome plugin for Codex for it to work.

According to Reuters, Meta filed to ask a judge to toss out the jury’s March verdict, which found that Meta (and YouTube) were negligent.
Meta had said at the time of the ruling that it planned to appeal. Google also said it plans to appeal.
When using GameChat, you can appear as an interactive avatar “that mirrors your expressions and movements,” Nintendo says. There are also AR filters that let you add “a pair of Star Fox-like ears or a Falco-inspired beak that moves when you talk.”

In Wednesday’s annoucement of its compute partnership with Anthropic, the company formerly known as xAI referred to itself as “SpaceXAI.” It was the first time I had seen that name, and while I don’t think it’s a good one, it made some sense following SpaceX’s acquisition of xAI.
According to Elon Musk, “xAI will be dissolved as a separate company, so it will just be SpaceXAI, the AI products from SpaceX.”
Apple had asked the court for a stay in a mandate from the Ninth Circuit appeals court sending the case to back to district court to figure out how much of a fee Apple can charge on purchases out of the App Store. But Reuters reports that Justice Elena Kagan declined to pause the ruling. Epic, perhaps unsurprisingly, seems happy.
