The company says the new Intel Arc Pro A60 and A60M are “ideal for computer-aided design and modeling (CAD/CAM), AI inferencing tasks and media processing in dedicated business environments.” It launched the A40 and A50 GPUs for professional users last year.
The layoffs translate to about 5 percent of the company’s 2,000 workers, according to The Wall Street Journal. The changes come at a bit of a rough period for the company, which is getting some blowback for its planned API pricing changes that could charge developers far more than they can afford.

Good Morning America: Tim Cook says Apple Vision Pro will change how people engage with tech
Apple let Good Morning America film Robin Roberts using the new device. There’s nothing too surprising about her experience, especially if you’ve read other impressions. And it doesn’t appear that Apple’s EyeSight feature is active, meaning you can’t see Roberts’ eyes while she’s using the headset.
But if you wanted to see the Vision Pro in a setting that wasn’t Apple’s keynote video, you might want to watch this video.
If your Wordle group chat wasn’t spicy enough, the NYT just shared a ruleset for a competitive version of the game inspired by the rules for golf. You’ll have to keep track of the scores yourself, though; this isn’t actually baked into the game.
Dr. Fetus’ Mean Meat Machine, a Puyo Puyo-style puzzler that obviously takes cues from Dr. Robotnik’s Mean Bean Machine, will be released on June 22nd. I’m not the biggest fan of the game’s gross-out aesthetic, but I do like all the extra challenges and obstacles shown in the trailer — looks like it could be a really fun puzzle game.
