Playdate is adding five new games to its Catalog.

The new games have a lot of promise, and they include a “crank-operated digital talking calculator” and a Vampire Survivors-esque game where you play as a mining droid. The new games are available to purchase from the Catalog now.

macOS and watchOS are moving to Apple’s new beta software system.

With iOS 16.4 and iPadOS 16.4, Apple has dropped its “profile” system for betas and instead lets you pick a beta channel from settings, and the next releases of macOS and watchOS will move to a similar system, according to 9to5Mac. The change means that you can’t just install a developer beta profile to get access to that bleeding-edge software; instead, you’ll need to pay to be part of the Apple Developer Program to get those developer betas.

A new, free book about Steve Jobs is coming out tomorrow.

Make Something Wonderful will be released digitally on Tuesday by the Steve Jobs Archive. A special version of the book on the web will be designed by Jony Ive’s consultancy, LoveFrom, according to Wallpaper:

A ribbon of text can be zoomed into freely, a format that deploys the typographic precision that Jobs was so invested in. The online book uses the studio’s own LoveFrom Serif, combined with fullscreen images and a discrete right-hand scrollbar for chronological navigation.

Want to get an idea of what the iPhone 15 Pro might look like in your hands?

A user on Douyin (the Chinese version of TikTok) shared a video of what looks to be a dummy model of the iPhone 15 Pro (via MacRumors), and it provides a decent look at how big the phone might be in real life. The dummy appears to match up with 9to5Mac’s detailed iPhone 15 Pro renders shared last week. The cameras are enormous.

A photo of a rumored dummy version of the iPhone 15 Pro.
    That’s a big camera bump.
