In 2022, the social gaming platform saw 58.8 million average daily active users, up 19 percent year-over-year, and 12.8 billion “hours engaged,” up 18 percent year-over-year, according to its most recent earnings.
But Roblox plans to move away from sharing metrics every month to every quarter beginning in April, so there will be a little less transparency. “Our basic reasoning is simply that month to month variability in our results is often more volatile than quarterly results and thus drives more short-term market reactions,” Roblox wrote in its shareholder letter.
