As part of the layoffs announced today, according to an executive memo reported on by Bloomberg, “we have made the difficult decision to halt a significant amount of our first-party AAA game development work – specifically around MMOs – within Amazon Game Studios.”
Monument Valley 3 is getting a new expansion, Garden of Life, on December 3rd, and alongside the release, the game will return to iOS and Android. It actually launched on mobile last year as a Netflix exclusive, but was removed from Netflix’s lineup this summer.
Prologue: Go Wayback!, the survival roguelike from PUBG creator Brendan Greene’s PlayerUnknown Productions, is launching in early access on November 20th. It’s the first of three games that are part of an ambitious plan for the studio.
Some kind of event is taking place on November 1st, and leaks from last week indicated that Homer, Marge, Bart, Ned Flanders, and Krusty the Clown might all appear in the game. El Barto has even defaced the header image for Fortnite’s X account.
