Ubisoft reportedly cancelled an Assassin’s Creed game set during and after the Civil War.

In this Reconstruction-era Assassin’s Creed, gamers would play as a Black man who had been formerly enslaved in the South and moved west to start a new life. Recruited by the series’ Assassins, he would return to the South to fight for justice in a conflict that would, among other things, see him confront the emergence of the Ku Klux Klan.

ICEBlock creator Joshua Aaron says Tim Cook has “broken” trust in Apple.

Now, interestingly, ICEBlock users are the same users who build, support, and buy Apple’s products. And these same people rely on and trust Apple every single day. And I’ll tell you, if I was speaking directly to Tim Cook, I’d say, “Tim, you’ve broken that trust, and now it’s up to you to fix it.”

Apple removed ICEBlock from the App Store last week.

Fortnite doesn’t like when creators cheat, either.

Following recent legal action against a cheater and a person who carried out DDoS attacks, Epic Games said today it has taken legal action against two developers of player-made Fortnite experiences. The developers created bots to inflate player counts so they could get higher payouts, according to Epic’s complaint.
