The contract, which will cover more than 70 workers, includes things like guaranteed wage increases, restrictions on mandatory “crunch time,” and “enhanced regulations around the usage of AI and generative AI in the workplace,” the Communications Workers of America (CWA) says in a press release.

Current CEO Bob Iger has apparently said he plans to step down before the end of the year, and the company’s board of directors are set to vote next week on who should be his successor, The Wall Street Journal reports. The frontrunners are reportedly Josh D’Amaro and Dana Walden.

The deal, announced in September, is “on ice,” according to The Wall Street Journal, though there are apparently still talks about a deal of some kind:

Based on renders from Android Headlines, it doesn’t seem like Samsung will change things up too much with the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, or S26 Ultra. Samsung is rumored to launch the phones at an Unpacked show on February 25th, though the company hasn’t actually announced an event yet.
