Samsung’s Music Sync is getting a deeper integration with YouTube Music.

Music Sync in the SmartThings app can now start your YouTube Music playlist automatically when you hit the button to get your Philips Hue smart lights in sync with the tunes.

Press the Party button to get your Party playlist and party lighting, or opt for Relax, Workout, etc.

However, you’ll need YouTube Premium, a Galaxy device, and Hue smart lights for all this to work.

Music Sync is a feature in the SmartThings app that syncs your Hue smart lights to any music app on a Galaxy device.

This startup is trying to disrupt your fridge.

Seattle-based Tomorrow is developing a new type of fridge with a “patent-pending cooling architecture” designed to extend the life of fresh produce.

The company says the cooling adapts based on what’s on your shelves, the fridge will keep track of food using AI-powered cameras, and that it can help you plan meals.

The Tomorrow fridge isn’t coming until next summer, but you can sign up to be notified today.

    Homey’s new dashboards look sweet.

The new interfaces from the smart home platform are designed to make controlling connected devices easier. Available on iOS and Android, the customizable control panels are clearly inspired by Home Assistant’s popular dashboards and work with 25 Homey widgets plus widgets from third-party apps.

You can create multiple dashboards, which are free for Homey Pro and Home Cloud users. A one-time fee applies for the first-generation Homey Pro.

Homey Dashboards feature built-in widgets for Homey features, including graphs for temperature and energy usage, device control, Homey Flow automations, Moods, weather, and cameras.

Level extends its Matter upgrade to its Bolt smart lock.

The company has launched a Matter-over-Thread version of the Bolt for $229 and is offering existing Bolt users a free upgrade.

This means that, as promised, the “invisible” smart lock, which goes inside your existing hardware, now works with more smart home platforms without needing Level’s bridge.

The Level Lock Plus recently got a Matter upgrade, too, but the Lock and Lock Touch are still waiting.

If you buy something from a Verge link, Vox Media may earn a commission.
