XP-Pen has a new portable Android drawing tablet.

Following the standalone Magic Drawing Pad from 2024, XP-Pen is now launching the Android 16-based Magic Pro 13 next month to tempt creatives away from sketching on iPads. The price hasn’t been announced yet, but it features a 3096 x 2064 resolution LCD display, with 100 percent sRGB coverage, 650-nit brightness, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

Google Photos is coming to Gemini Spark.

The update is rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the US over the next few weeks. When it arrives, Spark users can ask the AI agent to automatically search, organize, and curate photos and videos, and extract information from them to use elsewhere.

Adobe’s Photoshop, Premiere, and AI tools are now in Slack.

Adobe for Slack is available starting today for Slack Business Plus and Enterprise Plus teams, allowing users to make or edit images, videos, and documents directly in Slack. It works like Adobe’s chatbot — describe the outcome you want to Slackbot, and it’ll call on more than 70 tools from Creative Cloud apps and Firefly to complete the task.

This rugged laptop runs on sunshine.

The Oukitel RG14-P includes an integrated solar panel that supports 10W charging, which can recharge the battery to 50 percent within approximately six hours “under optimal sunlight conditions.” There’s no price, but it’s expected to launch in November with a 14th gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 512GB expandable storage, and optionally, a built-in camping light.
