A new game is bringing D&D to VR.

Dice? Check. Character sheet? Check. VR headset....well. Details are slim surrounding this “future release” besides it being a collaboration between Hasbro and Resolution Games — the studio that released it’s own VR tabletop roleplaying title Demeo back in 2021.

I’d be suprised if Hasbro isn’t cooking up other D&D-related projects too given the love Baldur’s Gate 3 and Honor Among Thieves recieved last year.

Shall Google compare thee to a Claude Monet?

Google has revived its Art Selfie feature with generative AI, allowing users to create stylized images that reference famous artists and notable periods of history — imagining yourself in Rousseau’s jungles or as a Shakespearean performer, for example.

The new Art Selfie 2 tool is located under the Google Arts & Culture app, where it’ll also provide facts about the art style or period being referenced.

    Logitech’s articulating ‘show-and-tell’ webcam will cost $350.

The Logitech Reach is designed for one-handed operation, and will soon be available to purchase via normal channels for $349.99 starting this summer, following an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign,

That’s pretty steep, but the lofty price may be worth it for creative streamers who have spent years wrestling with rigid tripods or webcams perched on a tower of books to achieve a top-down angle overlooking their work.

Artists can now use this data ‘poisoning’ tool to fight back against AI scrapers.

The University of Chicago’s Glaze Project has released Nightshade v1.0, which enables artists to sabotage generative AI models that ingest their work for training.

Nightshade makes invisible pixel-level changes to images that trick AI models into reading them as something else and corrupt their image output — for example, identifying a cubism style as cartoon.

It’s out now for Windows PC and Apple Silicon Macs.

A screenshot taken from a University of Chicago research paper showing examples of AI images corrupted using Nightshade.
Here are a few examples of what happened during testing when an AI-image genetaror was repeatidly poisoned.

Remedy on ‘R’ logo dispute with Take-Two: “There is nothing to see here.”

The Alan Wake developer says the objections that Rockstar Games’ parent company filed against its new logo were already resolved “entirely and amicably” late last year.

Remedy’s communications manager, Thomas Puha, told The Verge:

Unfortunately, it took a little longer to complete than we had hoped due to some holiday scheduling. The legal filing was simply an initial formality, and Remedy and Take-Two continue to work together in partnership.

The logos for Rockstar Games and Remedy Entertainment
Well I guess that’s put the matter to bed then. Good thing these logos look nothing alike anyway.

TSMC’s $40 billion Arizona chip project faces new challenges.

The Taiwanese chip maker is expecting production delays at its second semiconductor plant in Phoenix, Arizona, pushing its target for volume production from 2026 to either 2027 or 2028. TSMC originally announced the facility would produce advanced 3nm chips, but now says the chip type isn’t determined yet.

This update follows previous production delays at its first Arizona factory, which TSMC blamed on labor shortages.
