    Samsung’s financial woes continue.

Samsung is expecting Q2 operating profits of 600 billion won ($459 million), according to its own preliminary estimates — a 96 percent decline compared to the 14.1 trillion won ($10 billion) from Q2 2022.

Reuters notes that this will be Samsung’s lowest quarterly profit since 2009. Its previous two quarters have been similarly poor amid falling memory prices, though analysts are expecting the downturn will bottom out in Q3.
