Leaked footage from a canned Xbox 360-era project known as Call of Duty: Future Warfare has been shared on YouTube, showing gameplay menus, settings, and a full “Moonbase Assault” mission, as seen in the video below.
Eurogamer notes that former Neversoft developer Brian Bright has verified the footage, claiming the studio pivoted from Guitar Hero to work on the canceled game, which was later replaced by COD: Ghosts.
Version 17.3 of the Shazam iOS app can now identify what track is playing while wearing wired or Bluetooth headphones — regardless if the song is being played aloud nearby, or directly on the device via apps like TikTok and YouTube. In-app song identification was already available, but only if the user wasn’t wearing headphones.
In 2004, NASA’s solar-powered Spirit and Opportunity rovers landed on the Red Planet’s surface on January 3rd and January 24th, respectively, with their touchdown softened by multiple bounces on giant airbags. Both rovers easily surpassed their three-month lifespan: Spirit lost contact in 2010, while Opportunity made it to 2019 — traveling 28 miles during its almost 15 years in operation.

Google has revived its Art Selfie feature with generative AI, allowing users to create stylized images that reference famous artists and notable periods of history — imagining yourself in Rousseau’s jungles or as a Shakespearean performer, for example.
The new Art Selfie 2 tool is located under the Google Arts & Culture app, where it’ll also provide facts about the art style or period being referenced.
