The longevity of this retro tech is admirable, but the company is now finally working towards phasing out animatronics and floppy disks entirely.
In addition to announcing a new yellow iPhone 14 variant, Apple has revealed that its Emergency SOS via Satellite feature will be available in Austria, Belgium, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, and the Netherlands sometime later this month.
The service is free for two years after activating an iPhone 14, and it’s already succeeded in locating stranded individuals since launching last November.
