We don’t know when (or where) DoorDash Air will start piloting deliveries in its launch location of Northern California, but we do now have our first look at the purpose-built drone systems it’ll be using. It features six slow-spinning propellers, and at cruising delivery height it reportedly emits a noise comparable to that of a passing car.
Meta is expanding Instagram’s School Partnership Program, adding a centralized hub for keeping students and parents informed about what’s happening across their school communities. This also introduces new features for verified students, including a Clubs and Teams directory, School Stories, Notes, and the ability to add a school banner to their profile.
That’s according to a leaked IPO filing seen by Reuters, with $8.06 billion specifically highlighted in operating losses for 2025, more than double the $2.98 billion it reported in 2024. The AI startup spent $7.33 billion on compute and infrastructure in 2025, and plans to spend a further $518 billion over the coming years, so profitability seems a long, long way off for Anthropic.
The new feature is designed to automatically reduce Discord visual effects to help whatever game you’re playing to run smoother. Discord already has similar performance saving options, as noted by TechRadar, but the platform still faces complaints about desktop resource usage impacting gamers.
