    Windows 10 gets an extra year of free life support.

    The free Windows 10 extended support program was only supposed to last until October 13th, 2026, but Microsoft has quietly expanded support until October 12th, 2027. That gives users an extra year to avoid updating to Windows 11, or forking out for a new computer amid the ongoing RAMageddon.

    ElevenLabs rolls out SynthID support.

    The AI audio platform has adopted Google’s invisible watermarking technology to help identify AI-generated content online. SynthID is now included in text-to-speech generations for free users, and will expand coverage to all ElevenLabs audio generations “over the coming weeks.” The watermarks can be detected using the ElevenLabs Audio Detector.

    Canva is expanding further into AI advertising.

    The company just announced its Canva Grow 2.0 update, which allows users to create ad campaigns and publish them to TikTok, LinkedIn, and Meta platforms without leaving the Canva app. It also introduces a new insights dashboard, and automatically analyzes ads with AI to make performance of certain themes and formats easier to track.

    Two handlebars are better than one, right?

    Outdoor retailer REI has been getting some heat for this (now removed) AI slop ad on Instagram, but the company says Meta is to blame. “Meta auto-enrolled us in an AI personalization tool that produced an inaccurate and inappropriate alteration of a vendor-provided image,” an REI spokesperson told Business Insider.

    Agility Robotics eyes $2.5 billion IPO.

    The company — which provides “Digit” humanoid robots to customers like Amazon and Toyota — is set to merge with acquisition company Churchill Capital Corp and list under the ticker symbol AGLT. Agility CEO Peggy Johnson says that going public will give the company an edge over its competitors “seeking to fill the labor gap.”
