    Adobe brings Photoshop to Android.

After launching Photoshop for iPhone in February, a beta Android app is now available to download via Google Play. Much like its iOS counterpart, Photoshop for Android includes many features from the desktop version, including layers, masks, brushes, and Firefly generative AI tools, but with a UI optimized for mobile devices.

Adobe says all features are free to use while the app is in beta, and that more are “coming soon.”

Thomson Reuters is building AI agents with OpenAI.

The first is CoCounsel for tax, audit, and accounting professionals, which can perform tasks like client file reviews, memo drafting, and compliance checks. An agentic tax prep application that can draft tax returns is also in the works, called Ready to Review.

Thomson Reuters’ embrace of generative AI was noted by Reuters president Paul Bascobert on Decoder last month. The CoCounsel launch is “just the start” according to Thomson Reuters’ announcement, with agentic workflows for legal, risk, and compliance “coming soon.”

iPhone users can finally copy chunks of WhatsApp messages.

The WhatsApp for iOS 25.16.81 update that’s rolling out over the coming weeks allows users to hold down on a message to select and copy specific sections, instead of being forced to copy the entire message text. Android users are still stuck with this limitation for now, but WABetaInfo reports that a similar update is in the works.

The EU age verification app will launch in July.

The app is described as a temporary solution until the EU rolls out a Digital Identity Wallet with age-checking features next year, aiming to support the enforcement of rules that require online platforms to protect minors. The app will allow users to verify their age without giving personal information to platforms, and was briefly mentioned on Tuesday when the EU Commission announced its probe into major porn sites.
