Palworld’s creator is exploring bringing the game to more platforms.

Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe says the studio is in talks to bring the game to more platforms beyond PC and Xbox.

The obvious question is whether the game, which has been nicknamed “Pokémon with guns” and has faced accusations of plagiarizing characters from Nintendo’s hit franchise, will ever come to the Nintendo Switch.

Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto and did not invent Bitcoin, British judge says.

Almost eight years after Wright publicly claimed to be the digital currency’s enigmatic inventor, UK Judge James Mellor has said the “overwhelming” evidence is that this isn’t the case. In a post on X Jack Dorsey, one of the backers of the organization that brought the legal challenge against Wright, quoted the judge’s verdict:

Now AliExpress is on the EU’s naughty list.

The European Commission says it’s opened formal proceedings against AliExpress because it may have breached the Digital Services Act’s rules. For example, the Commission says AliExpress may not be enforcing its terms of service properly, and is allowing the sale of “certain products posing risks for consumers’ health (such as fake medicines and food as well as dietary supplements).” Similar investigations have already been opened into TikTok and X.

Samsung’s new Galaxy A55 is skipping the US.

The company has confirmed to Android Police that only the Galaxy A35 will be coming to the US, and that “we will not be carrying Galaxy A55 5G at this time.” It’s unfortunate given that we rated last year’s Galaxy A54 as one of the best affordable handsets.

Neil Young’s music is back on “low res Spotify” two years after Rogan protest.

The artist pulled his catalog in early 2022 over its then-exclusive Joe Rogan deal, which Young said had resulted in Spotify spreading vaccine misinformation. Now, with the exclusivity deal over, Rogan’s podcast is also available on Apple and Amazon, and Young can’t keep his music off all of them.

He’s still not happy about Spotify’s lack of high-res audio quality, though.

A brief look at what could have been Timesplitters 4.

After paying £525 (about $670) for a PS3 dev kit, a Redditor has discovered an early prototype of the 2008-era first-person shooter, which was unceremoniously cancelled after developer Free Radical closed its doors. Depressingly, this isn’t the only Timesplitters game to have never seen the light of day. The reformed, Embracer Group-owned, Free Radical studio shut down last year and took its new Timesplitters game with it.

Google admits what we all expected — there’s a Pixel 8A on the way.

Continuing its lack of secrecy around new phones (remember when it tweeted out a picture of the Pixel 4 months ahead of launch?), Google has seemingly confirmed that a Pixel 8A is on the way in a bug tracker, 9to5Google reports. We’ve already seen leaks of its design, specs, and packaging, but now we know it’ll get a new battery stats feature.
