Questlove’s new documentary, Ladies & Gentlemen – 50 Years of SNL Music, opens with a seven minute-long montage that took nearly a year to put together.
This clip was uploaded on what appears to be a fan-run YouTube channel, so it’s not clear if it’s the actual montage — but it does make me very excited to watch this.

Dozens of subreddits announced they’re banning links to posts on X, following Elon Musk’s appearance at a Donald Trump event where he made a gesture that looks a lot like a Nazi salute.
r/NBA is taking the X ban a step further and will also ban links to Meta platforms, moderators announced today.
As of 11:45AM ET, the app shows a new — less groveling — pop up when you try to open it: “We’re working hard to resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience.”
Compare that to the message the company pushed to users last night as the app went dark: “We are fortunate that President Trump has indicated that he will work with us on a solution to reinstate TikTok once he takes office. Please stay tuned!”
