The bug in UniFi’s cloud infrastructure improperly logged some users into the wrong accounts, which include network admin controls and (in some cases) camera feeds.
To the company’s credit — it fixed the issue promptly and published an update explaining what happened, when, and to whom. It estimated fewer than a dozen people had access to the wrong accounts. One would hope!
Realforce keyboards — the only full-sized and tenkeyless Topre boards — are on sale at PFU America, which will no longer carry them after the end of the year. Instead it’ll focus on the iconic Happy Hacking keyboard, including the new HHKB Studio.
Realforce boards are expensive, like all Topre keyboards, without the cachet of the HHKB. They’ll still be sold in the US through mechanicalkeyboards.com, including the new R3 models.
Ten years old, but new to me: a website that plays a tone every time a Wikipedia page is updated. It’s a soothing antidote to ... basically every other browser tab, at this point.
The bell-like sounds of a celesta correspond to edits with a net addition of content to Wikipedia, and the strums of a clavichord correspond to net subtractions of content.

NatGeo is still in the top 10 US magazines people get on purpose. Focusing on people you know care about your work makes sense! Ditching newsstand isn’t necessarily concerning on its own.
