So there’s a creator called icemanfox1 on TikTok who uses Digital Combat Simulator to make super realistic clips of fighter jets. You might call them machinima, or link them to the use of Unity and Unreal Engine in Hollywood. They’re not AI, but they are surely synthetic media, and it feels like only a matter of time before game engines incorporate generative AI anyway. Where do you think the line is? I bet we’ll be thinking about it for a long time to come.
