Owen Wilson will star in a new show on Apple TV Plus.

With Loki season two wrapped up, an unnamed 10-episode comedy written by Jason Keller (Ford v Ferrari) sounds like it could be worth a watch.

Starring Wilson in the lead role, the comedy follows Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After he gets fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store and his wife walks out on him, Pryce hedges his bets entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom.

I’m hoping it’s the spiritual Happy Gilmore successor I’ve futilely prayed for over the years.

One small step for man, one potential nuclear step for mankind’s future on the Moon.

Space.com points out this recent announcement that China and Russia are considering putting a nuclear reactor on the Moon by 2035, linked to their plans for a joint lunar outpost.

Roscosmos CEO Yury Borisov says they’re readying technology that could carry out the mission autonomously — an ambitious statement considering it couldn’t quite nail an attempted lunar landing last August.

At the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecom Conference in San Francisco, Disney CEO Bob Iger summarized his gameplan for Marvel and Disney movies to get more butts into theater seats, as reported by Deadline:

“A lot of people think it’s audience [superhero] fatigue. It’s not audience fatigue. They want great films. And if you build it great, they will come,” he said. He noted that has made nearly $30 billion from 33 films. “We got to return to something akin to that. And I actually am confident that we will.”

A string of bad superhero movies certainly isn’t helping, though, even if they aren’t all from Disney.

Google Fi’s Simply Unlimited plans are getting a price hike (if you have three or more lines).

The first price hike since 2022, it takes effect April 4th, and as 9to5Google points out, it will add at least $10 to your monthly bill. That number increases the more lines you have, with a $30 increase (to $150 monthly) for six lines.

If you’re still receiving promotional credits or paying on a device financed prior to today, Google says you’ll be grandfathered into the older rate as long as those commitments last.
